- Made by hand in small batches in Gippsland
The hardest-working bar we make. Saponified Gippsland grass-fed tallow with olive, coconut, rice bran and palm oils, and finely ground pumice stirred right through.
Most heavy-duty hand soaps get their scrubbing power by stripping the skin. This one gets it from the pumice, so your hands come out clean rather than raw. Cut by hand, in small batches.
Who it's for
Gardeners, tradies, mechanics, potters, painters — anyone whose hands finish the day dirtier than they started it.
Hands and body. It is too coarse for the face.
What it does
Gets ingrained soil, grease and grime out of knuckles, cuticles and the creases of your palms.
Softens the hard, rough skin that builds up on working hands, and leaves them comfortable rather than tight.
Hero ingredients
- Grass-fed tallow, from Gippsland — the reason it cleans hard without drying
- Finely ground pumice — the scrub
- Olive, coconut and rice bran oils — put back what a day's work takes out
How to use
Wet your hands, work the bar over them firmly, and pay attention to nails and knuckles. Rinse well.
Keep it by the outside tap or the laundry sink, somewhere it can drain.
Questions
Is it vegan?
No. The base is grass-fed beef tallow.
Can I use it on my face?
We would not. The pumice is too coarse — the Charcoal & Tea Tree bar is the one for that.
