The gentlest bar we make. Saponified Gippsland grass-fed tallow with olive, coconut, rice bran and palm oils, then goat milk, raw honey and finely ground oats folded in.
Goat milk and oats have been going into soap for as long as people have made it, for the same reason we use them: they take the edge off a wash. Cut by hand, in small batches.
Who it's for
Dry, tight or easily upset skin, and anyone who finds most soap leaves them itchy.
Face and body. Gentle enough for children and for older, thinner skin.
What it does
Cleans without that stripped, squeaky feeling, and leaves skin soft rather than tight.
The ground oats give a very mild polish. The lather is soft and low — that is the goat milk, and it is meant to be.
Hero ingredients
- Grass-fed tallow, from Gippsland — the creamy base
- Goat milk — soft, mild, and traditionally used on skin that reacts to everything
- Raw honey — draws moisture in and holds it there
- Finely ground oats — a gentle polish, and long used to settle itchy skin
How to use
Wet the bar, lather in your hands, and wash as usual. Rinse well and pat dry rather than rubbing.
Stand it somewhere it can drain between uses.
Questions
Is it vegan?
No. It has grass-fed beef tallow, goat milk and raw honey in it.
Why is the lather smaller than the other bars?
The goat milk. It makes a softer, lower lather — that is normal for a milk soap and not a sign anything is wrong with the bar.
