Charcoal & Tea Tree Cleansing Bar

Made the old way, from saponified Gippsland grass-fed tallow with olive, coconut, rice bran and palm oils. Tallow gives a soap its creamy, slow-melting lather — the kind that cleans properly without leaving your skin tight afterwards.

Activated charcoal draws dirt and excess oil out of the pores, and pure tea tree gives the bar its clean, sharp scent. It is the most thorough cleanse in the range. Cut by hand, in small batches.

How to use

Wet the bar, work up a lather in your hands, and massage it over your face or body. Rinse well.

Leave it somewhere it can drain between uses — a bar that sits in water will not last.

Questions

Is it vegan?
No. The base is grass-fed beef tallow, which is what gives these bars their lather and their staying power on skin.

Will it dry my skin out?
It should not. Charcoal bars often do, which is why this one is built on tallow and olive oil rather than a stripped-back soap base.
